Tournament Format
· Individual stroke play
· Juniors (boys and girls) will compete against other juniors in their respective age divisions.
· Parents will compete against other parents in the age division that is associated with their son/daughter.
Rules of Play
USGA Rules of Golf and local course rules will apply
1. Each player is allotted a single mulligan for use during holes 1-9 and a single mulligan for use during holes 10-18. The mulligan can be taken to replace any shot that is made from anywhere on the course, including a putt on the green. Once played, the mulligan becomes the ball in play. Please mark the scorecard when each player exercises his/her mulligan. For a mulligan that is not a tee shot, the mulligan ball is placed nearest to the point from where the original ball was played and no nearer the hole. We recommend that putts remain marked in the case that a mulligan is elected so that the original putting location is not lost.
2. Range-finding devices are allowed (e.g. Sky Caddies or Bushnell).
3. The maximum score on any par 4 or par 5 is 8. The maximum score on any par 3 is 6. Please adhere to this rule and pick up your ball when your score has reached these limits in either best ball or alternate shot play.
Hole #12: This will be the closest to the pin hole. Ball must come to rest on the green. All players participate. Parents’ shots are counted within age division of junior playing partner.
Notes
· In the case of a tie, the division winners will be determined by comparing, in order, the lowest team score for the final 9 holes, final 6, final 3, or #18. Finish strong.
· Trophies will be awarded to the top 4 individuals in each division. Each player will also receive a gift for his/her participation.
· A prize will be awarded for the closest to the pin on hole #12 in each age division, parents and juniors together.
